Established in 2005 with only objectives to create design experts of high quality proficiency, the DIT has been devoted and worked hardly to achieve this mission from the very first day of its inception. Detailed information about B.Arch Course in DIT Faculty of Architecture

Founded in 2005, DIT Faculty of Architecture as a latest Institute with state of art infrastructure amenities in the locality of DIT, Dehradun with an intake capacity of 40 students. The institute is permitted by Council of Architecture and All India Council for Technical Education with its association to UP Technical University, Lucknow as well as the UTU -Uttaranchal Technical University, Dehradun. The programme holds to all the standards of the dictatorial authorities to achieve educational and professional distinction. The programme assists the students to learn Architecture by all means of practical nature in the vicinity of Himayalays on surveys, site studies & educational tours.

Eligibility criteria:
For getting admissions in DIT Faculty of Architecture, the candidate should have cleared an examination at the end of the new 12th system of Senior School Certificate exam or correspondent with Maths as compulsory subject with minimum 50% combined or should have 10+3 years diploma as documented by central/ state government. Admission will be permitted on the basis of merit of All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) score and NATA exam clearance i.e. 40 % and above score.

DIT Faculty of Architecture admission Process for Bachelor of Architecture:
The entrance to 85% of the total seats (50% for Uttarakhand candidates and 35% for All India students) under DIT Faculty of Architecture would be approved on merit basis of AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination) score throughout State level counseling held by UTU- (Uttarakhand Technical University), Dehradun. The reservation of seats would be pertinent as per State Government policy.

15% of admissions under Management courses are done straight by the DIT Faculty of Architecture by accomplishing institute level counseling on the joint merit based on the total marks of 12th and score achieved in NATA exam on the basis of 50:50. State Government authorization and the orders from time to time.

NRI SEATS: out of 15% of Management seats the 5% seats are occupied for the NRI students. NRI seats would be kept as per the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) norms i.e. by the NRI student’s who have conceded the qualifying examination with Maths as a necessary subjects from a renowned institute located outside India which is taken equivalent to 12th Examination by the Association of Indian Universities.
