Around Sat Tal
Garg Parvat or Garg Mountain is the main source of the river Gargi, also famous as Gola Nadi in the area.
Nal Damyanti Tal
Located at the distant about 2 km from Bhimtal, Nal Damyanti Tal is a small natural lake. It is said that the palace of popular king Nala sunk into this lake. It is a very holy place for the locals of the region.
Hidimba Parvat
The Hidimba parvat in Bhimtal is situated about 5 km from the town is a hill and named after the demon consort of Bheema- Hidimba of Mahabharata. Vankhandi Maharaj, a preacher and environmentalist lives on the hill now, and has made an asylum for the wild animals around the hill. The wildlife area is known as Vankhandi Ashram.
